How do we use affirmations?

Affirmations are statements which you say out loud from your heart. Affirmations are positive statements that make up your life philosophy and help you get through any situation. They are powerful because they come directly from your heart, where true feelings reside. Some people call them positive self-talk.

It’s important to understand that affirmations are not just for yourself. You must speak them out loud so that they become part of your subconscious mind. This process takes time, but once they’re there, they’ll guide you throughout your day. And when something goes wrong, you won’t feel like giving up; you’ll know exactly what to say to yourself.

You don’t have to write down your affirmations. It doesn’t matter if you memorize them or even keep them written somewhere. Just repeat them aloud. If you find it difficult at first, try saying them in front of a mirror. Once you’ve done this for a while, you’ll start feeling much calmer.

There are many ways to practice speaking affirmations. For example, before going to bed, read your affirmations out loud to yourself. Or you could listen to music that makes you happy, then sit quietly and repeat your affirmations. Another way would be to put your affirmation tape on your car stereo and play it whenever you drive.

The key point here is that you should always hear these affirmations coming from your own mouth. When you hear your voice, you’ll begin to believe that what you’re saying is really true.
